Yerba Buena

On our Costa Rican honeymoon, Mike ate rice, beans, and plantains (not fried but grilled in honey) for every breakfast and many dinners.  His love for them carried back into the real world and for a while he was buying frozen plantain dinners from the grocery store.  When I discovered the Peruvian restaurant, Yerba Buena, I knew we had to give it a try and that we had to bring Luke (who made our wedding video) and his wife Polly.

So we went and it was THE BEST because there was fried brussels sprout salad, manchego croquettes, and fried watermelon.  Believe it or not, there were no plantains but it was ok because of the great company and the aforementioned fries.

From our honeymoon!
