There are a lot of reasons why winter in New York is the worst. The first reason is that you’re always walking and it’s always freezing. The 48th is that there’s a Rockefeller Christmas tree outside your office and a light show at Saks so you can’t even make it to the subway because of all the camera-clicking tourists (or is that just me?). The 735th is that you can’t even take your puppy on a long and joyous walk because he might get salt in his paws and you might get frostbite.
But now it’s 75 degrees and the ice cream trucks are out and so are the sandals! So I snuck out of work early to enjoy some time in the park with Leonard.
We met some other dogs, some babies, and saw a celebratory spring sunset. Winter, you can feel free to stay gone!
